This complete turbo hardware kit from CTS Turbo is a great kit for someone looking to make in the 300-425whp range and not break the bank. The default turbo with this kit is a Garrett 50trim but can be swapped out for a different turbo.
This kit with the 50trim, an efficient intercooler, and Unitronic 630cc software running 16lbs of boost can be expected to make between 310-320whp! And with the addition of some IE drop in rods and 22psi, we have made 374whp!!
Applications: Turbo Hardware Kit for the MKIV 1.8T Golf and Jetta (99.5-05).

This turbo kit was designed to be a very simple, affordable, and compact kit for street car applications. Turbos utilized in this specific kit are BILLET wheel ball bearing Precision Units and there are two choices available to cover many desired powerbands. These turbos are used widely among vw/audi turbo applications for customers desiring more power than a k04 or eliminator turbocharger with possibilities for stock like spool.
This kit is made for a MK4 FWD although it may fit other swap models more information to come in the near future**
Choose the 55/57 .48a/r for 320-380whp on pump gas up to and exceeding 500whp on race gas/water meth and other engine mods***
Choose the 58/57 .48a/r for 350-410whp on pump gas up to and exceeding 550whp on race gas/water meth and other engine mods***
*These numbers are for modified engines on race gas (c/q16), in most cases you will NOT see these numbers on a stock head with stock cams. Power output is based on modified engines with rods to handle more power, upgraded intake manifold, upgraded intercooler, and cylinder head with valvetrain/upgraded cams.
Although these are not requirements, these modifications will allow for more power consistently.

This fitting is for use with mk4 turbo kits on the heater core. This makes inlet pipes and or turbo kit installs go smoothly without rubbing on your heater core lines potentially causing issues to the install or damaging the heater core.

This item is for a turbo manifold only. This does not come with a turbo, waste gate, down pipe, dump tube, lines or fittings.
This is for the same manifold that is on the shop race car or one like it if adjustments need to be made for alternate chassis (fixture charges may apply)
The manifold is made of stainless steel schedule 40 and is a two piece design. This allows easy removal of the turbo kit, or transmission, or engine without taking the entire turbo kit off.
1 vband nut on the manifold, the oil feed and return lines, and 1 charge pipe are all that will needed to be removed to take the second half of the system off, turbo, waste gate, down pipe and dump tube complete. This can be done with hand tools in under 5 minutes.
This combination with a gen 1 precision turbo has made well over 1100whp and controls boost extremely well with its priority waste gate placement. Manifold is only available for Vband Inlet turbos.

This T3 single wastegate tubular header is made of thick wall stainless steel. It is fabricated in house using the highest quality materials on a jig. All of our MK4 20v manifolds are designed and fit perfect every time because they are built inside of a clip we have in the shop.
These manifolds are back purged and have helped produce the most powerful 20vs in the world.
FFE has a 0% failure rate on all of its manifolds, and for any of its fabricated parts. Not one part has cracked, broken or failed and we fabricate a large quantity of parts in various materials daily. Find another fabricator in the VW scene that can say that and have it be true. We repair and replicate other fabrication shops parts all the time because they dont stand up to the applications. You never have to worry about welded manifold failure again as it is a myth. If your manifold fails we will repair it or replace it for free IF it is due to a craftmanship error.
We build manifolds around your specifics and turbo. There is generally a 6-8 week lead time on orders so they fit perfectly
