Clutch Masters FX600 Twin Disk 6 speed
Our Price:
$1,700.00
The FX600 street twin disk system utilizes a pair of bonded organic/kevlar disks to allow for smooth operation while holding the tq of the highest horsepower cars on the road.
This clutch is a good option for a car that is going to be a true double duty car. Engagement is much more street friendly, with a longer life than the more aggressive 700 and 800 series.
We have used this clutch in many of our high whp street cars in fwd and halex applications with much success.
Clutch Masters FX700 Twin Disk 6 speed
Our Price:
$1,800.00
The FX700 race twin disk utilizes a pair of compressed ceramic bronze disks to stand up to the abuse or extreme hp race cars.
We use this clutch in our most extreme applications, the shop 800+whp car uses one as well as several of our hardcore customers that street race and drag race regularly.
For a race clutch engagement is fairly easy to control but life expectancy is less than the FX600 street equivalent. So if your going for the most hp and going to be doing any sort of extreme racing or competition with your car this is going to be the clutch for you.
All twin disk clutches should be installed by competent installers, a pedal stop must be used with this clutch, without one you will damage and overextend the throw out bearing/slave cylinder combination. If this happens you will have to purchase and replace with a slave cylinder/throw out bearing combo from clutchmasters as there is a special shim pressed into the factory part supplied in the kit.
